In June 2025, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero published the UK Solar Roadmap, setting out plans to increase deployed solar capacity from over 18GW to between 45GW and 47GW by 2030.

Ethtry has prioritised the development of renewable energy projects, together with investment in and collaboration with third-party developments. We believe this focus positions the Company to participate in one of the UK’s fastest-growing renewable energy sectors while supporting the country’s long-term energy independence objectives.

We invite land owners, asset managers and estate managers to contact us if you have access to 10+ acres of undeveloped land or clear roof space on large industrial buildings. We can assess the likelihood of a development succeeding and whether a suitable grid connection is available.

Once we have agreed terms over the land and entered into a commercial arrangement with you over a long term lease, our professional team will prepare applications for planning consent and a grid connection and cover the costs associated with this.

Ethtry works alongside investors and development partners seeking exposure to the UK renewable energy sector. We are actively exploring opportunities to invest in, acquire, or collaborate on projects at various stages of development.
